As a professional musician, I’ve always relied on plug-in headphones, so I was excited to finally dive into the world of Bluetooth. After a recent trip overseas, I really missed the convenience of wireless headphones. With Amazon Prime Deals in full swing, I was eyeing the Sennheiser Momentum 4s—tried them at Best Buy and loved them. Then I remembered Amazon doesn’t need more money, so I decided to buy from Best Buy.
That’s when I saw a Thinksound ad on my Facebook feed. I’d seen it before but dismissed it—until I saw their summer sale. As a Canadian, I like to support local companies, so I took a chance and ordered both the ov202w wireless over-ear headphones and the ov21 studio headphones for the same price I was looking at for the Momentum 4s. 2 Thinksound for the price of 1 Sennheiser!
Boy, am I glad I did. The unboxing was a delight—minimalist, eco-friendly packaging with cotton bags and multiple cables (including a mic one and a 1/4-inch adapter). The headphones are incredibly comfortable and they fit perfectly. Pairing was effortless, and both sets sound fantastic. The ov21, with their simple design, don’t skimp on audio quality, and the ov202w provide reliable wireless performance, with wired mode available when you forget to charge them.
Sure, the OV21 has limited adjustability, and the ov202w doesn't offer a dedicated app for fine-tuning, but honestly, for the price, I don’t think you’ll find higher build and sound quality anywhere else. These are environmentally conscious headphones that deliver on power, clarity, and comfort.
Support local, and you won’t be disappointed. Thinksound has gained a loyal customer with their quality, sustainability, and affordability. Keep up the great work—elbows up!
